Heidi Vincent is the Managing Director of Patuxent Marketing Group. She has extensive experience in marketing, promotion, branding, publishing, process development and direct response.
Before founding Patuxent Marketing Group, Heidi was Vice President of Marketing for National Geographic Books, where she managed all the consumer, direct response, business-to-business and sales support marketing for Adult and Children's Books. This included creating short-term and long-term marketing strategy; budgeting; developing and implementing sales & marketing processes; and overseeing the successful NatGeo Books social media accounts.
Prior to that role, she was Vice President of Direct Response Marketing for National Geographic Books, where she was responsible for all sales, direct mail marketing, market research, and product development for the channel. Heidi grew the profitability of the direct mail business during the tough transition to a digital industry through increased, specialized targeting and improved efficency, processes and cost-cutting.
Before joining National Geographic, Heidi worked for top direct marketers that include International Masters Publishers.
She holds a MBA from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelors of Science from Ithaca College. She lives in Maryland with her family.
